Testimonial - Caruur Car & Truck Rental

In mid-2021, Caruur switched to ProPlanner software to maintain an overview of its short- and long-term rental vehicles. With a short-term fleet of approximately 450 vehicles and a long-term fleet of 700, a clear planning tool and an accurate dashboard are essential.

At Caruur, we've been working with our own software for years, but we realized we needed new developments to prepare for the future. Our previous fleet management system, for example, wasn't suitable for renting out vehicles without intervention, via smartphone or tablet. We ultimately chose ProPlanner for its flexibility thanks to its extensive integration options, as well as its numerous features, such as comprehensive reporting and fine processing.

The switch to ProPlanner went very smoothly, but we had also prepared for this very well internally. I also appointed two colleagues who managed the migration and implementation smoothly.

At Caruur, we still have many expansion plans with ProPlanner. For example, we'll be adding three more branches at the end of October as a result of an acquisition. We also want to continue exploring the option of renting without intervention. We don't intend to switch to fully automated rentals, though. We highly value our personal service, but we're convinced that further automation will help us attract a new, additional clientele.
